Back in December 2009, after month's of being loose, Trent finally lost his first tooth.
(Read about it here - Click on it) We have started to notice a trend. His second tooth had to be pulled by the dentist because his other tooth had completely grown in behind it
.(Read about it here - Click on it). His third tooth has been just as stubborn, until we finally had to take matters into our own hands! This was March 10th. His teacher left me a voicemail saying he had an abscess in his gums, and she used to work for a dentist, and we should get it checked out. Lucky for us, Trent's dentist is also one of his hockey coaches and we'd be seeing him that night. He suggested we get the tooth out if we can otherwise, he could prescribe some antibiotics. Well, the later wasen't gonna happen, so operation tooth removal began. There was wiggling, there was twisting, there were even pliers involved. That tooth was so loose, but not coming out! Luckily Marshall was the man for this job, I am not good with this kind of stuff. Finally he wrapped a piece of floss up under the tooth, around the root. A swift yank (my stomach churns just recalling this!), a loud scream, a major gush of blood, and the tooth was out! A quick call to Coach Einer and that was that. Tooth out, abcess drained. Success! And an extra bump in the tooth fairy $ for the difficulty endured!
Now his fourth loose tooth has been no exception. Wiggly since the third tooth incident, but not coming out. And he really does work on them, it's not like he leaves them alone! Suprisingly he even still lets US near his teeth, but I don't think any of us could go through what we did with tooth #2 again!

Looking like a real hockey player, just in time for the tournament. The tournament where there are no winners and no loosers! (HA! We know. Won two games, lost the third, but who's counting!)
