An extra day off school and a welcomed invitation for a playdate brought Callie and I to the Zoo. Though the bears were still in hybernation, it couldn't have been a nicer day. A little taste of Spring, which seems to now be a distant memory with all this rain and yuckyness! Is Spring always this windy?
We hosted Easter which was a pleasure and a pain at the same time. (So much going on earlier that morning.) The families came in shifts. My family first, a little mixer in-between and then Marshall's family. I do like having people over, I just need more practice at it! Practice makes perfect right!
Leah organized a little Easter Egg hunt for that side of the family and of course we all dyed easter eggs!
Usually a mother's day project, the piers went in early this year.
My Dad got a little more water in his waders than usual, and Jack took a swim!
April Showers bring May flowers and I finally got mine planted! Just in time for the return of the sunshine!
Well, it's supposed to be an Easter Egg HUNT, but it's more like an Easter Egg Scramble. The eggs are everywhere, but you gotta be the first one to em.
