About this time of year we start to say to ourselves, "will it ever end?". The hockey season that is! It's a love/hate relationship. We do love it, but there comes a time when we need to let our love go for a little bit so we can love it even more when it comes back!The great thing is, pond hockey renews the interest a little. At least once or twice a year we get to go skate on the Lake. Usually weather permitting one of those times is for Gran and Leah's birthday. A great day for a skate.
This year one of the neighborhood Dad's organized a little game for the boys in Trent's class. Trent was severely handicapped by the fact that is was a boots only game! I had so much fun watching these boys enjoy themselves so much.
We were lucky with ice conditions this year. Actually got out 4 times!
One more month of hockey. We can do it! I'll just keep looking forward to my perennial favorite:Skating at the Admirals Game!
